In 1970 I heard cripple Creek on the radio . Never hearing of this group before, but liking the way the cover looked plus the name The Band sounded pretty cool .I was in 7th grade , money was tight , what a great investment .It's dog eat dog and cat eat mouse , you can Rag Mama Rag all over my house .After 1 week I went back to Korvettes and bought Big Pink . Got each lp as it was released and then had to duplicate on cd in the 80's .Truly one of my top 5 groups of all-time !

I didnt have too much knowledge about The Band until I heard this number, then bought the album and got to really appreciate the music and the talent. I was a "Band" aficionado from that point onwards. Those were the days!
