I met Doug (aka Doctor Synth) in 2003. What a nice guy. Invited me to his house where we looked at photos and listen to music.

Doug is one of the greatest space rock musicians ever. Very intelligent. I remember back in the mid 80's, talking to Doug on the phone when I was the publisher of "Electrogenesis" magazine. He had such great energy for the electro art form. I put his tapes on all the time. There is no else in the electro world who has a sound with such power and inspiration.

OH great to see some Doug Walker footage on Youtube. I was lucky to see Alien Planetscapes on a number of occasions, and have quite of Doug's self released CD's. He was such a great man, we had lots of great conversations about music, always real friendly and happy.

nice to see Doug! We were roomates and played alot of music together when i was 18. He introduced me to many recordings of musicians who i later performed with. I will always be grateful to Doug and his friendship. thanks for posting some of his work to help keep his memory alive
