@coordinatezero Look int o the band a little more, Also this is an off shoot of their primary band Glass Candy, you will finf that all their influences ''Kraftwork, Cure, Joy Div, are inline with covering Kate's song. THey are in their early 40s. I do understand your point though, i am a big fan of theirs but this is not a great cover.

A butcher job. I have a deep appreciation for electronic music, but ... sorry kids. Sounds as if it was played by people who never heard the original and someone hummed it to them. She can't sing; they got a lot of it wrong; it lies there limp against the ears like a soggy rollie. Just makes me want to listen to the original!
