@Zrich1995 best thing to do is to feel the cone. If the cone is stiff than more than likely the voice coils are ok. If the cone is flimsy and easy to push in than you may have a problem. That's one of the easier ways other than listening for distortion. Be warned though that not all cones are made alike and one cones stiffness will feel different from another ones. If you really want to know bad take them out and look at the parts that you can see including the voice coils.

@kittyfanatic1980 Shows how much you know seeing to how MTX is used in a lot of car audio competition. The MTX 9500 was the first super sub of it's kind in car audio and out performed and out stat W7's and before you start bitching about it please look up the numbers and you'll see yourself. not to mention the Jackhammer which is a 22-24 inch sub getting over 7k RMS. MTX has always been and always will be high performance competition audio.
