Zookeepers made a snow igloo topped with food for the male lion-tailed macaques. "Clapton," "Ozzie" and "Ike" snacked on sunflower seeds, carrots, cucumber, green beans, and kale, part of their daily diet. Enrichment activities give Zoo animals interesting, stimulating ways to perform natural behaviors while also having fun.

  • This is the kind of thing I love about zoos.

    And about zookeepers!

Thanks for a wonderful video just showing the animals with no distractions. As a zoo visitor, I learn the most from just standing and quietly observing the animals, or observing the animals and their keepers, going about their regular routines.

This video is the next best thing to being there. Keep up the good work!

  • Looks like the macaques are having a great time with the igloo- Very imaginative! (And they didn't have to go outside in the freezing cold to enjoy the snow!)
