Broadway Killers - Sellaband funding

We are Broadway Killers and we need your help in order to make our debut album! If you like our music, if you believe in us and if you can spare a dime to help finance our debut album, your support would get us a long way. In return we give you a part of the revenues of the sales, and depending on your funding you get different incentives.

Broadway Killers is a three-piece rock band out of Aarhus, Denmark. Without any intensions of creating the revolutionary, we try to create simple, authentic rock music, inspired by the energetic and melodic punk music, the attitude of the grunge scene and the sound of the alternative rock. Broadway Killers is a classic rock band, where only the sound of the rough vocals, the Orange Amp, the Ampeg cabinet and Rogers drums will hit your ears.

The last seven years the band members have been in different bands and a part of the talented Danish and German underground scene. Altogether we have played more than 700 shows all over the world, headlining and supporting bands like Billy Talent, Bad Religion, Millencollin, Fall Out Boy, Real Big Fish and Beatsteaks.

In the fall of 2010 we got together to record our debut EP, "Broadway Killers", which was released the 1st of March 2011. The second EP, "Broadway Killers (The Blue EP)", was recorded the same month and released the 22nd of September 2011. We are currently in the studio to record the third EP, "Broadway Killers (The Red EP)". All recordings have been done together with the talented producer and musician Jacob Bredahl.

The recording processes and chemistry between band and producer has been so giving that Jacob Bredahl will produce the album. However, this time we want to go to the countryside to be in solitude when recording the album. We found a nice studio on one of the islands south of Copenhagen where no one lives. This will be the off set for the recordings of our very first album.

Our plan is to record the debut album in about a year from now, not long after the release of our third EP. This is to keep the fan base growing and to keep the records coming. That is also why we continuously keep touring - even though it's only weekends or prolonged weekends. The idea is simple: continuity, consistency and making good, catchy punk rock music.
