Just to start I was brought here by checking ouy FreeSilio's youtube page LOL!
Anyway: You can't mix the bible with evolution, why? Did god use death, pain and suffering to make the earth? If this was already in the earth, why would Jesus have to die for our sins? Who was the first "person"?
The bible many places refers to genesis as true history, the bible is an account of reality and history, you shouldn't try to mix it in with mans ideas.

I'm really happy to see an ex young earth creationist talk like this!
Next step could be to admit that the bible is not the "word of god", but just an old book written by people feeling "inspired" but totally ignorant about science. Then you can follow admitting we have not really evidence about the existence of Jesus and his supposed "miracles". I think in a couple of years an intelligent guy like you can get rid of religion at all.

@PuertoRicanTakeOva Jews were persecuted because of their rebellion against roman empire, and martyrdom, anyway, doesn't prove truth (EVERY religion has it's own martyrs).
Jesus has never been proven as an historical character, but I agree that the religion based on his figure is mixed up with every sort of paganism. It's just a mean of mass control.
