ok here the thing, I don't know how you danse in america, but classic danse is french, and Im french and I danse; The video above shows : Tombé - Pas de bourré - Grand jeté!! not a saut or pas de chat. How can you mistake that. Maybe you use different words in english but, normaly the name are he same. Otherwise that would an insult to the classic danse lol! just accept that...

@lkfredd definetely a grand jeté developpé in this video. I do classic danse in france, and we have created classic danse in europe:france, so I really know it lol just write grand eté on youtube and you will see that ;)

@Bugy34 What you're referring to is Pas De Chat. This is a Saut De Chat.

weird prep, so exaggerated/

I'm french, we created classic dance, please don't say stupid things, it is not a saut de chat it is un grand jeté !! you can do it with developé ! saut de chat is a small jump one leg after the other...

Eso no es un grand jete es un Sau de chat!
-
That wasn't a grand jete.

@sluttyfrogmagician nono, italian :)

Maybe it's just because I come from the Cecchetti method (I'm guessing this is Russian), but that preparation was just so exaggerated looking that it made me laugh!

@killbunnysforbois She may have done the movement well, that is not what I am arguing about (actually, I don't think I am arguing about anything). It is a question of terminology. Perhaps in other syllabi, there is no discrimination between grand jete and grand pas de chat.
Is not a grand jete, because her front leg does a developé
So this is a Saut de chat!!

Un saut de chat c'est sur le côté d'abord. A moins qu'en Amérique ça soit connoté de cette manière là. Etrange tous ces commentaires.
