@Cirvantes123 Again you couldn't go without using the word Republican in your argument. Don't forget congress is controlled by the Republicans because Americans were/are disgusted with Obama's failed campaign promises and voted his cohorts out in the mid term elections.

Bill Clinton invented DADT, so your saying he was wrong? Reagan took us out of the dark ages that Jimmy Carter put us in. Bush Jr left us bad, but Obama made it WORSE.

@Cirvantes123 I asked u not to use the words "Bush" or "Republicans" in your argument, and you couldn't do it. I showed you statistics on the debt increases, you responded by challenging those statistics as not being an accurate indicator.

Obamacare does not lower healthcare costs or improve quality of care. Yes, it will insure the uninsured, but at what cost? Free healthcare is not a right. Obamacare is also unconstitutional, there is a good chance it will be repealed by the Supreme Court.

@chuck9788 Even conservatives grudgingly admit the stimulus prevented a depression. Had Republicans not blocked most of the meat of the bill, it's possible we would have been out of the recession ages ago. As for "pandering to secure the gay vote," 67% of Americans favor repealing DADT, including me. You asked why I'm happy with the direction he's bringing the country, taking it out of the dark ages the republicans desperately cling to is one.

@chuck9788 Unlike Bush, Obama includes the cost of the war in calculating the debt (which the Bush admin refused to do in order to make it look like the debt was actually lower), which ends up making the debt look almost 3 trillion$ larger than it otherwise would have appeared. According to the congressional budget office, obamacare will ensure 32,000,000 people who otherwise would not have been insured.

DADT has NO effect on me (i'm not homosexual), plus the military not Obama should have the say on that policy. Obama pandering to secure the gay vote. Obamacare does not lower costs or improve the quality of care. It may get thrown out by the Supreme Court. How can you prove he avoided a great depression? The world no longer hates us? Why?

Bush debt + $4.9T over 8 years, Obama debt + $4.1T in 3 years.

@chuck9788 Repeal of DADT, comprehensive healthcare reform, prevented another great depression through measures supported by BOTH parties, including the previous administration, the world no longer hates us, still increased the debt LESS than the previous administration did.
