This long lost silent treasure was recently discovered in the dusty film vaults of the long forgotten Chicago film studio, Essanay Studios. Much of the film was destroyed, but what remains shows a film ahead of its time given the taboo subject matter. I've merely added a soundtrack, as it was originally a silent film. Wow! Thanks for posting this! So little remains from Essanay. When I was young, and still living in Chicago, friends and I would sit on the brick wall that bordered Essanays parking lot. We didn't know at the time that we were looking at the Paved over Backlot!
