The fact is the astronomer does not know what it was ! He stated " I think it is something here of Earth." The key part of his sentence is "I Think..." Bottom line is he does not know what it is nor could he identify it. A clear case of an astronomer not wanting to pin his name to something he can not identify in order not to appear as a fool if it was later labled as a hoax. Good job to the young men who video taped the sighting and thanks for posting.
