@xiaolintraditional90 I complete agree with you. Real shaolin skills are not flying around in acrobats, but for its efficiency in self-defense. Wushu has lost this traditional focus of self-defense and lean towards performance. Therefore, you see a lot of acrobats, alot of "useless" movements that one can not apply in a fight. But, this is the result of the Cultural Revolution.

the butt bouncing thingy is china's government rule for competitions. thats y this 3 section staff is not considered wushu. if yall wanna know any kung fu then do some research then yall will understand some more. china's kung fu is not suupose to be changed and china's wushu can be changed any time. this is the difference between kung fu and wushu

Awesome! Anybody who can recover like that is definitely a sifu!

Awesome recovery.
A person must be prepared for a slip or a fall during a fight. To pratice a recovery move could mean the difference in getting your ass beaten off. Be prepared !! A slip means nothing-- the recovery means everything.

true chinese kung fu is not SUPPOSED to be changed but chinese kung fu not cannot compare to 100 years ago. Look at the shaolin temple for example, they focus so much on wushu and practice basically for performances now. Their so called "monks" are basically wushu students now. Even if the form itself did not change its meaning did.
