Produced by Aflame4God Channel .I wrote this song as a missionary/pastor in Barbados. We sang it as a congregation many times. This version is sung by a trio of Bajan believers who love the Lord. God will reward our efforts as we seek to know Him in our quiet time. We live such crowded, cluttered, crazy lives full of business. The culture demands our attention and drains us. We have iPods, TVs, cell phones, blackberries, computers, and many more electronics that fill us with noise and steal our time from being alone with God. We need to be personally revived by His presence as we focus on Him. Don't let your schedule overwhelm you. Communion with God is the highest blessing on earth and in Heaven. We need quiet solitude in the presence of God. This will revive us. This trio were not professional singers, but devoted believers who sang this song as a prayer to God at one of our services. This song is the cry of my soul. Even ministry and church work can sometimes hinder me from being alone with God. Just because I am working for God or His people, doesn't mean I am in tune with Him fully.

I desire to be alone. With God of course. Free from the distractions of everything else. I just want to be alone. May it be so.
