I read an interview with fenton, when he arrived in america People assumed turning japanese was english slang for...., you know what.

When he would be interviewed by radio or TV stations he would give everyone a different answer he told them, "it's whatever you want it to be"

But he maintains it was really a love song which i beleive is true.

I can't stand the fact that The Vapors are known a 1 hit wonder. True they had one huge hit but for gods sake that is practically their worst song. The Vapors have so many incredible songs that are sooo much better than "Turning". The Vapors Rule but I'll be the only one who cares.
