I grew up in Toledo. I have very fond memories of Mr T and Salty. The Richards Rd neighborhood, that I grew up in during the 5o's and 60's.

Boy, are you going way back! Yes, I remember Mr. T. If memory serves me correctly, he was always fumbling around in a closet trying to get the next cartoon reel - and it always ended in a disastrous crash as the reels all fell down (out of camera range, of course). I also remember some things about Salty. I recall that he was the sidekick clown and never spoke. He used some sort of noise maker (kazoo sounding thing) and answered in a series of whistles and squeaks.

Does anyone remember "Mr T"? He was the morning TV cartoon host in Toledo circa late 60's. Used to have Dan Danford the Zookeeper on as a regular guest. How about Skippy the Scarecrow or that scientist guy? Before my time was "Captain Salty and Cotton" or was it Captain Cotton and Salty????
