  • very nice, i'll do a similar one but with a rail at the bottom, if i calculate the focal correctly, it will all me to do ovals as well.

  • @mpuzzlemaker : search wikipedia for Trammel_of_Archimedes

    click on the animation ( you only need to make half the cycle ...)

    1) you already have the first "pivot'

    2) you already have the variable length arm.

    3) you only need a sturdy T rail at the bottom (half the cross).

    enjoy.
