Stephen Condon, stage name for Don Condon. Actor, Model, Entrepreneur. Prior to 1991, he served as President of companies in several industries real estate, banking, legal and publishing. In 1991, Stephen was walking to lunch with his business partner in Palm Beach, when an ABC television van pulled up. It was driven by no other than Burt Reynolds. Out jumped a girl who asked how would you like to be in the movies? Burt Reynolds was in Palm Beach producing the TV series, BL Striker. After turning Burt down three times, Stephen finally decided to take the plunge. He appeared in several episodes of Burts show. Shortly after, thanks to another working actor, Joanne Pflug (of Get Smart and MASH fame), Stephen was encouraged to get involved in the entertainment industry. He was then off to Europe -- Germany, Britain and France. In the first six months of his career, he appeared in over sixty national television commercials, 137 magazine covers and international publications. Eighteen years later, Stephen has appeared in over 250 commercials (including name brands like Coca Cola, Ford, GM, Mercedes, Carnival Cruises, Hertz, Blue Cross, Burger King, Wendys, McDonalds; hundreds of print advertisements (including Ralph Lauren, Merrill Lynch, Chase, SolomanSmithBarney, American Express, Citibank, B of A, JC Penney, Aleve, Merck, Paxil, Lyrica, Lands End, Kodak and Hallmark); TV sitcoms (including The Nanny, Players, Staying Afloat, Tonight Show); soaps (All My Children); off off-broadway theater and several movies (including a double for Leslie Nielsen and Steve Martin, who he is still mistaken for occasionally). He was even a model for Norman Rockwell. Stephen says it has been a great journey. Who would have thought I could make a good living smiling as an actor/model -- with cruises in Europe, the Caribbean, Mexico and Alaska. Im working with some of the top actors and producers in the industry.
