Allen & Heath Xone:4D - Traktor 3 Scratch Vinyls

This video is a short demo of the Allen & Heath Xone:4D in combination with Traktor 3 Sratch Vinyls (TimeCode vinyls).
It works just perfect!
This video is just a demo, not a tutorial or performance.

Gear used:
-Allen & Heath Xone:4D (Mixer + Soundcard + MIDI controller)
-Technics SL-1200 MKIV (Turntables)
-Denon DRA-425 (Amplifier)

This gear is not mine, I helped a friend of mine setting it up properly.

That's possible,

but you might need Phono PreAmps because the turntable signal out may be to weak.

The Xone:4D has phono preamps in it as standard.

What Kind of laptop are you running? Mac or PC? Are you using any timecode mediums (vinyl or cd's) or are you using the soundcard built in? Also you should check out the xone 4d forums. Yes the 4d has issues with it but most of them just require a few tweaks here and there to fix them. I've had my 4d for almost 6 months now and EVERY issue I've come across has been fixed.

No, the drop-outs where my fault;)

I turned the effect selector with that knob, and that caused the drop-outs.

When I made this video the total setup was just 1 min. ready, so we were just trying some things out.

But we haven't had any drop-outs during the whole day. No single problem, click, etc.

The drop outs in audio at around 1:11 are they intentional? I heard about problems with the sound card with drop outs, crackles and pops in audio.

Hi i was wondering if u can help me.I have just got my 4d and laptop running with traktor pro.Only problem is as soon as i play 4 decks at same time it kinda crashes and i have to set my soundcard up again in preferences weird.Its a hp laptop and well it should be powerful enough to run this programme but i just dont know if its the laptop or the traktor.
