Neal Barnard MD discusses the science behind food addictions. Willpower is not to blame: chocolate, cheese, meat, and sugar release opiate-like substances. Dr. Barnard also discusses how industry, aided by government, exploits these natural cravings, pushing us to eat more and more unhealthy foods. A plant-based (vegan) diet is the solution to avoid many of these problems. Neal Barnard is the founder of the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM).

  • @lovebigboobs29 Thank you for not typing foul language. you are welcome to repost your comment sans the f bomb or any other questionable words. I do not censor and am not afraid of rebuttals. I know animal products are not necessary to thrive because my 20 month old daughter has been vegan since her birth and is developing ahead of schedule.

  • and he acts like he NEVER gets the urge to eat cheese and that cheese and meat are evil and that eating them is like sinning! wtf...

  • @DigitalPraise7 I choose animal products because I like them. Not interested in the vegan lifestyle as I like meat, dairy and eggs as well as leather furniture or car seats. The fake stuff doesn't last as long. I am very healthy eating what I eat.

  • @DigitalPraise7 Actually adults use adult words. It isn't juvenile. You must be some bible banger huh. Nothing wrong with cussing its a fact of life. Just can't handle the truth so ya deleted my comment. Just like a typical vegan.
