The New Original Wonder Woman tele-movie was first released in 1975 starring Lynda Carter, lyle Waggoner, Stella Stevens and several popular stars of the time.
This trailer features the original opening presetation from the 1975 film which was later re-cut for the 1976 TV series. Included in this tailer is live-action sequences from the movie and TV specials (1975 to 1976).
Like it or not, the fight scene between Stella Stevens and Lynda Carter changed the face of women forever. Before this two women never really mixed it up on film before. I can't say I remember to many fights where one woman literally knocked another through a door, or getting smashed over the head with something. This was the start of the female action hero.

Sorry but NO one can be as good as Lynda playing Wonder woman!! She was born to be Wonder woman!!! It's kinda of like following Elvis. Either way your just going to look bad and they're going to look THAT much better!!!

This trailer features the original opening presetation from the 1975 film which was later re-cut for the 1976 TV series. Prior to being made into a weekly series, there were a few made-for-TV movies specials. The opening was remade for Season 1 of the series. Season 2 reimaged the series propelling it into modern times and again changed the opening. The theme was progressively changed as the series progressed taking on a more DISCO beat and newwer scenes.

an unknown should play the role. i've seen a lot of girls out there who are just as pretty as l. carter. we're used to seeing her & she played the character so well. in my opinion lynda is the prettiest.****.
