  • CG is just not as cool as a well drawn cartoon.

  • its more of the fact that animated dosent stick to the classic cartoons, g1, armada, heck even cybertron and energon with there models.

its that animated made our juggernautic friends too organic looking, with the mouths and such, makes me feel like octimus is a giant guy with blue skin in a robot suit instead of a greatly powerful equal to megatron

.......and anyway......... i liked unicron in armada.... it was energon that pissed me off

  • @viraticwars I didn't "dislike" the Bay movies. But I know that it honestly could have been done better. The majority of the TF fans favor G1 and Beast Wars, so I can understand that it is hard to replicate the joy of watching anything new Transformers themed. I will say that, if ZPeter Cullens did NOT voice Prime, then the movies would probaby have not done well at all. The third one was good, in my opinion, but it was rushed. Look at the ending.

No no no... He was made like any other Transformer, in a lab. He was made to crush the rebel Autobots who were rebelling against the Quintisons. 'Couse, Megatron or some Decepticons kicked the Quints off of the planet many centuries prior, so Megs was just kicking Autobot tailpipe for fun. GALVATRON was made by Unicron to get the Matrix. Megs was scrapped, and Unicron fixed him up with plenty of crazy and Lenard Nemoy! YEEEEE!

  • @DudeOfX

They could, they just aren't. But, seeing as Orson Wells isn't around to do the voice of Unicron, I don't see why we would need a new one. It would be just lack luster without him... unless they find a REALLY menacing, slow, calculating, wheezing voice to replace him.

The idea was "Borrowed" from Galactus. In fact, everything in the Transformers movie was borrowed from other movies. Compare the old movie to Star Wars IV and you can see som major parallels. There was little to no originality to the movie, but it was so good on it's own merrits that it is still my fav. Better than anything Bay did, in my humble opinion.

  • @viraticwars I agree

  • @MrXeno55

I would still prefer that they go to a BotCon, pick any random nerd, and use his fan fiction as the next script. Bay could do an end of the world planet eater just as long as the military don't do all the Autobot's work for them... lame ash movies... bleh...

  • @viraticwars I agree more work and passion goes into drawing thousands and thousands of slides I hope traditional animation makes a comeback. My entire history project last year delt with 2d animation and stopmotion against CG. :)

  • I say that the reason Unicron hasn't made an appearance in the recent transformer movies is cause they are unable to replicate its aurora from the original movie

  • @MrXeno55 I understand. I would too, I suppose. Maybe we'll get lucky and he'll eat Shia La...beuf? Buff? Boff? Bauf? Buh? Or was it Le...buff? Biff? Bionucelar? Bucephalus?

    Mmmm...Phallus....

  • @AnomalyINC I guess your right, but you never know. I would still go see the movie just for Unicron. He happens to be one of my favorite animated villians of all time.
