Lake Creek is one of south central Alaska's great wild rivers with incredible salmon runs. Come along with us for a seven day, unguided, 55 river mile float and fishing adventure of a lifetime. See beautiful footage of the Alaska Range, wildlife including bald eagles, grizzlies and a wolf, aerial video of the mouths of three major salmon spawning tributaries, and tail walking monster kings. This video will take you to the river from the drop point on the majestic Chelatna Lake to the pick up on the glacial Yentna River. Experience the flight, the float, the weather and the incredible king salmon fishing. 2006 Production

  • Nice video, really. I fished Lake creek 92, 96, 2000 and 2008. The three first trips was asome. Were is the fish now? Planning a new trip but dont know wich year to go.

  • what do u guys use, corkys, if so what color?

  • I just made the connection . You guys did the roadside fishing video.! Excellent

  • what were u getting them on?

  • The pink salmon don't swim that further upstream though,it stay quite close to the lower stretch of the river,it spawn only a few mile above salt water, unlike the king salmon nearly 3,000 miles journey...

  • I sure missed the fresh air and the fresh water of the pacific northwest man, might take a drive down there with my brothers next year from northern california...

  • Look like a whole lot of fun man, these bad boy swam from the salt water sea,as much as 3,000 miles up fresh water river just to spawn, after that their job is finished, they just seemed to loose all interest in life and just drift downstream with the current and die, about 60 days later new life begin, the youngins would hatched..

  • Nice fishing, ann an awesome video:-)
