Kevin Turner, director of the UAB Gospel Choir who knew Bishop McMurray through his Dad District Elder Ervin Turner of Peoria, IL and as former min. of music for Bishop Noel Jones in Texas pays tribute to "Bishop Mac" through this song. This song is from an era when choir's simply had CHURCH and delivered the gospel message to simply Trust Him! R.W. McMurrary was a bishop with the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World

Yay for the PAW!! Next we need for UAB to give a tribute to the living Bishop Herron Johnson who was a great friend to Bishop McMurray. Go Head PAW!!!

d1architect, that would be interesting to do a tribute to Bishop J (Faith Apostolic Church - Birmingham, AL). Many years ago I was deep into PAW and was minister of music for lots of PAW flagship churches (Donaldson, Ellis, Noel Jones and even Bishop H. Johnson). When I first arrived we used to come on the radio and TV with a song called "Sound of Pentecost." Plus Bishop J used to sing "My Mind is Made Up" along with a lot of Bridegroom Songs (G.T. Haywood). I'll keep this in mind and pass it on
