I downloaded nexentastor trial and it didn't work smoothly, there were issues with:

1. creating users/members and groups. ie. when you try to view the members of such group (about 3 users) there were no visible entries but if you check out the /etc/passwd and /etc/group - yes those were there under that group. why is it that those members wont display at all.

2. How to initiate (automatic) connection from nexenta to an ldap server.

3. I found out that by default the ldap clients is disabled.
