  • Your staff and You have been doing a great job providing information in an entertaining way for quite a few years now...

    thanks All.

  • it's an intentional dumbing down of people no question

  • Yup the good old days.

  • When I was at school, one of my instructors was an executive producer for the Discovery channel. He said that the reason all of the discovery networks are like they are is because some woman took over production and marketing, like 5 years ago, and changed everything including the programming.

  • I think its strange or out right scary how Discovery and TLC have been dumbed down so much over the years. TLC used to have informative shows and know its john and kate + 8 and a host of other shows about deformed or morbidly obese people. Discovery channel used to have great shows on a host of different and interesting scientific topics but , now im learning about crab fishing and dirty jobs? Its like TLC (the LEARNING channel) became FOX and Disc became a lesser TLC. Hmmm.

  • Very interesting. Looking forward to watching this.

  • The amazon is a great source of human remedys, a lot of one of a kind, been there forever plants, that is probably getting killed off also. The prices being paid for crude are supposed to include the higher cost of proper handling. This is just a rape not only of the locals, but of all humans the world over, for even more profit for these companies.

  • agreed, forget the messenger and hear the message. :)
