This was shot on my LG Renoir mobile phone. I wanted to take a better DV camera, but because of the short notice I wasn't able to get it charged, although the video quality is really good for a phone. (5mins of video =92MB).
I wanted to get a more alternative view of the event, so I took this from on top of a parking meter. If you want a video with a bit more action search for the #moonwalk hashtag on YouTube.

the date uploaded says Jun 26, '09...the day after Michael Jackson died, by far THE earliest of the MJ flash mob tributes I've seen on YT. Probably THE first of the flashmobs dedicated to him so i can understand why the camera person wasnt able to get a birds eye view since no one has ever done this (flashmobs) before.......kudos Liverpool

Couldn't see the choreography.

I prefer an organic growth.

First, participants that never dance, about 30 that keep the crowd from getting trapped. Then one dancer, two, ten...and then very timidly, 40, then people in thier 40s in suites and unlikely people with purses and backpacks let loose having a witl time...with no clappeing afterwords.

Cameras should be up from 2 windows.

to the idiots trying to claim MJ's having to buy off the kid and him being so powerful as it being proof; you have no idea how media works - the bigger the star, the more you have to lose even if you win. If MJ went into court battle, they would have made public all kinds of horrible claims and info on MJ. It becomes a long lasting smeer campaign. Just ask yourself this; if you had a kid, and he was raped by another dude, what would you do? sue the guy for money? or try and get him in jail?

Ugh. The man was one of, if not THE, biggest star on Earth. If he really wanted to clear his name, the tour could have waited. His fans would have understood, and his PR team would have known the best thing for his image would be another victory in court.

But again, you all can believe what you want to, however implausible it may be.
