Thanks for posting! This was the first version I heard... bought the album but never like that version as much...

This reminds me of all the drugs I took, everything I lost, but still have room to hope.

@Enigmaticland: Nevermind - it was an old joke from Select magazine.
-
@RHutton2710 wtf? lol :P
-
@Enigmaticland: aye. It would have been interesting if Hannett had collaborated with Boyzone. I think the world missed out there.

@RHutton2710 Indeed yes, nearly everyone who worked with Hannett say he was a cocky arrogant. But what kind of music production work he did, my friend, certainly he was a genius. Thanks for sharing!

@Enigmaticland: I think they felt it wasn't anthemic enough; and they supposedly didn't like Hannett's egoism very much, which is fair enough I suppose.

It's sad the band didn't liked it, this is my favourite version of the song.
What I admire about his work is the way he creates contradictions in his sound. It's small but huge, noisy and orchestrally beautiful, roomy and spacey. I swear I'm not just talking out of my ass; these are my impressions when I hear recordings and mixes like this one.

@VioletGrey: if you like the orchestral sound, have a listen to the album version, or to their song 'Hypnogogic'.
