I hosted a Super Bowl Party this year and made some delicious food. Unfortunately, I only got the first part of the Cheese Football on video (though I did finish telling how to make it in an audio file at the end). I also include a video for a simple appetizer that I made at the party... I recreated it just for you guys. Stay tuned after the credits for that little bonus feature.

The cheese football is a fairly simple recipe to make... the catch is you have to start making it several hours in advance so that it can re-chill in the refrigerator. Here is what you need for this recipe:

2 packages of Cream Cheese (16oz total)*
2 Cups Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
1/2 Cup of Parmesan Cheese
1/2 Cup Miracle Whip (or salad dressing)
2 Green Onions (diced)
1 Cup Chopped Pecans
Cheese Wiz (canned cheese) for laces

*Soften Cream Cheese in Microwave for 30 seconds*

**This is a KRAFT recipe. The only difference is that I substituted cheese wiz for pimento slices.

I am a firm believer in the principle that "anyone can cook," and invite viewers from all backgrounds and all levels of cooking experience to join me in creating some nice meals. Feel free to make changes to my recipes as you see fit.

I hope you will subscribe to my videos and share with me your experiences with my recipes, including changes you make.

  • Be sure to soften the cream cheese in the microwave for 30 seconds... I forgot to mention that in the video.

  • Very good idea using the cheese for laces I will try that next time...I was trying to think of a way to incorperate this for valentines day and thought of using tomato pieces instead of pecans and shape the ball into a heart ..might try that

Thanks hope the super bowl party was as great as mine was
