@TwinklesPussMaster61 The Ares has a faulty blow back system that breaks the rear of the piston off, are you sure you want to deal with that? Not to mention, CA's come with 6.04 inner barrels stock, their polymer feels actually better than the grey Ares does, and the CA's weight is more evenly distributed. I've bought 4 CA G36 variants, 1 Ares, 1 JG, and 1 E1, I'm pretty sure I'd know which one is a better stock gun. However if you're looking to upgrade then Ares is the best IMO.

@bolingersa Well still polymer is stronger than plastic it is also cheeper than metal. If you buy CA's G36 it would cost you the same as if you bought a metal airsoft gun. Plus if I wanted to spend allot of money on a G36 I would get mine from ares.

@TwinklesPussMaster61 Plastic is one thing, polymer is another. The real G36 is made of polymer, and there is a huge difference in external quality between the E1 and CA. In any case, I'd spend the extra on a CA before I bought a E1.

Since the real G36 is made out of plastic I will go for Echo 1 because I am not paying over $200 for a plastic gun

I own an echo 1 g36c. While it's powerful and reliable, the accuracy could be better. Anyways, if you're on a budget, the echo 1 is a better choice.
