Sen. Jim DeMint (R-S.C.) speaks on the floor regarding the $1 trillion-plus spending bill passed by the Senate this last weekend and blasts it for its blatant promotion and funding of abortion and the ending of the D.C. voucher program (Dec. 11, 2009).
Sorry but I'm afraid that the dembos huge majority means that at least 40 dembos have to vote 'no' to stop it - they did it on original bill, but nobody expects that many to withstand pelousy's 'waterboarding' to do it on the final bill.

Obama promised repeatedly that ALL negotiations for a healthcare plan would be broadcast on C-SPAN, but like so many of his promises, it was all a LIE. (Nancy Pelosi and her cronies even laughed at a reporter's suggestion that they should stick to Obama's campaign promises). From the "Cash for Cloture" deals in the Senate, to these backroom deals in the House, the liberal leadership has been exposed for its duplicity.

Brian Lamb, the C-SPAN CEO, wrote to leaders in the House and Senate Dec. 30 urging them to open "all important negotiations, including any conference committee meetings," to televised coverage on C-SPAN, imploring Congress to open up the last leg of health care "reform" negotiations to the public, as some top Democrats lay plans to hash out the final product among themselves.

P.S. The House of Representatives is slated to return on January 12, 2010, and the US Senate on January 19, 2010. Even before that, though, leaders in the House and Senate are planning closed-door backroom meetings to negotiate all of their "deals" to try and get this thing passed.

You can send Blast Faxes to Democrats, Republicans, Independents -- EVERYONE in BOTH houses of Congress, DEMANDING that they REJECT this socialized health care plan NOW. TELL CONGRESS TO REJECT SOCIALIZED HEALTH CARE -- BETTER KNOWN AS "OBAMACARE."

With every passing day, more and more citizens are expressing their opposition and outrage over this monstrous bill. And remember, Obama, Pelosi and Reid wanted to pass Obamacare months ago. Thanks to YOUR efforts, we've been able to STOP that from happening.

Now, with the Senate's Nelson-Reid language and Mikulski amendment in place, a group of 10-12 pro-life Democrats led by Rep. Bart Stupak of Michigan may very well REVOLT on supporting the bill, unless the Stupak amendment is added to the Senate version of the legislation. And if the Stupak amendment is added, that would probably prompt some pro-abortion Democrats to vote against the bill. RESULT: OBAMACARE DIES.

The House initially approved its bill on a three-vote margin only because it contained the Stupak amendment to ban abortion funding.

1/9/10: On abortion, the Senate bill contains massive abortion funding by virtue of the Nelson-Reid abortion language in the bill that allows states to force taxpayers to fund abortions with government funds. It also contains the Mikulski amendment, which would allow the Obama administration to define abortion as "preventative care" and force insurance companies to use taxpayers' premiums to pay for them.

People who think ABORTION is OK should watch video of an ultrasound as a baby STRUGGLES for its LIFE as it is PULVERIZED and VACUUMED from the uterus - an extremely VIOLENT DEATH.
