It's incredible to me that a a White Trash Fundamentalist like Sally Kern was even elected to office. Where I live she would have had her sorry ass kicked out of office, but then the White Trash Baptist Church that her husband pastors in Oklahoma City would not be welcome here either.

My guess would be that the vast, flat, featureless landscape makes them nuts, but who really knows? There's one lady in Oklahoma who apparently believes she is visited by a family of Bigfoots every day, and that she can even communicate with them by making gutteral grunts and groans...go figure. But at least she's not an elected official (although if she runs in the next Oklahoma election, I wouldn't be surprised if she wins). Depressing, isn't it?
