Posterior Drawer Test for the Shoulder

The Posterior Drawer Test for the shoulder is an orthopedic technique used to help diagnose posterior instability of the shoulder. It is performed by trying to shift the humeral head posteriorly and is considered positive if painful or if patient is apprehensive of the movement.
