It's not smart to overheat your xbox It might work after overheating but what you are actually doing is killing your xbox permanently The RROD(redringofdeath) is actually an error that occurs when your xbox was overheated before and your motherboard has gone out of place because it was too hot Your x-clamp ( which how the call it ) is bended so what you actually need to do is order some tools at the internet to fix it

wow, epic bad advice. 1.) Over Heating the xbox causes the pins to come lose.and can cause all kinds of problems. 2.) Then placing it in the fridge can bring harmful condensation into the equation. Causing shorts and even more problems. You honestly are causing more damage than anything. @maxkenady Maybe they wanted to let people know that there is a possibility of completely frying it and NOT bringing it back to life. You got lucky. Your XBOX is probably completely dead now.
