When I wrote this, I originally called it Funeral March for a Cat becuase it was inspired by a mummified cat in a museum down in St. Augustine, Florida. However, because apparantly my bad playing never allows my pinky finger to ever contact the keys, I changed it! It is one of about four easy "sort of piano rags" I composed and hope to post soon. Tell me what you think and please, if you are a piano snob, don't be nasty. I am not trying to be a composer . . . they were just for fun and written for my niece and nephew.

  • As a composer and a pianist, I give you an A+ but I'm afraid that as a sound engineer, a D- would be appropriate. I'd love to hear this with the microphone moved a little further from the piano so it doesn't keep "pinning the needles" as they used to say.
