Everything Happens To Me

Hey there!
I just felt like recording another song today, so I gave this beautiful (but sad) ballad a try (don't expect it to be perfect, though for I only recorded two takes :))

Anyway, this tune was written by Tom Adair and Matt Dennis in 1940. It was first recorded by the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra, featuring his then-singer, Frank Sinatra. It has become a standard, with versions recorded by Charlie Parker, Thelonious Monk, Billie Holiday, Chet Baker, Rosemary Clooney, Nat King Cole, Erroll Garner, Bill Evans, Stan Getz, Art Pepper, Neil Sedaka, and Ella Fitzgerald, among many others.
