The song is "I don't live today". You can hear the drummer who I am certain is Buddy Miles, sing it in the beginning. I am also certain that the bass player is Billy Cox who was an army buddy of Jimi's and played with Jimi in the Band of Gypsys and with the Experience. Buddy Miles was also in the Band of Gypsys. If I am correct about the guys I am certain about then the guy with the headphones who enters at the 1:29 mark is Eddie Cramer, one of Jimi's engineers and producers. Great Stuff!

he is actually playing Hendrix, I don't Live today, (this is obviously a jam of it) he's jamming with Billy Cox. it turned up on a Hendrix tribute album, which is a great CD btw. I'm sure someone already commented on that.
