I think we need to clarify responsibilities between Firestone & the Government. If those homes have no running water or toilets isn't that more about the lack of infrastructer in Liberia? In order to have toilets you'd need a developed and well maintained sewage system. Isn't that more on the Liberian gov't?

this information is very inaccurate. i being in firestone myself and conditions there are far improve than under the government of Liberia. the have free healthcare, electricity, food and housing plus decent salaries etc.

@jaiguy5 you are 100% in a sense. But, I rather kick her out completely. See, this freekin company has been in our country for 86yrs+ which made them freekin rich and Liberia poor. But, thats all about to change. For competitors, We brought in Sime Darby from Assia which's investing US$850million covering 220,000 hec covering 4counties in Southwestern Liberia plus Golden Veroleum and EBF covering 410,000 hec to produce and export oil palm and rubber products.
