Hailing from Jaisalmer, in the desert of Rajasthan, Queen Harish once became a dancer purely instinctively. She always had a total connection with the rich ritual and cultural roots of her environment and gossips would also reveal her serious addiction to watching Bollywood movie.

Harish started touring the world dancing, as early as 18 years old, she featured on stage with legendary Rajasthani music groups such as Musafir, MAharaja and later embarqued as a solo performer. Harish litterally lived on tour throughout all continents, and without a pause, for almost 8 years.

Learning much from her travels in the world of performing arts, she assimilated most of Flamenco, Middle Eastern dances and met many contemporary dancers that introduced her to concepts, acting, body expressionism, pantomime ...

This lifestyle of experiences makes her a remarquable and unique performer, as Queen Harish is the Indian contemporary performer who has the most deeply rooted cultural traditions, or, taking it the other way, Queen Harish is the most progressive, modern and versatile Rajasthani traditional performer!
