The Troubadour: Working Class Hero, Back Where I Started - John Fiddler + Morgan Fisher

The Troubadour Gallery, London, where Morgan Fisher held his BACKTRACKS & ABSTRACTS photo show during the Mott the Hoople reunion week, October 2009. John Fiddler came by with his guitar and an off-the-cuff performance started. Morgan had never played these songs before, so please forgive the odd fluff (and the bad lighting), but the feeling was really rather good. Morgan couldn't lug a keyboard over from Japan, so he rocked out on his new Hohner 50th anniversary model red-and-black Melodica, which sounds particularly bluesy and bendy here (maybe it was the wine?). Here are two songs - Lennons classic WORKING CLASS HERO, and BACK WHERE I STARTED (which John recorded with Box of Frogs, the band he formed in the 80's with members of the Yardbirds).
