I am not a Muslim, but what I see first and far most in this video is the suffering of innocent people. What does it matter what religious views one holds when you see a young boy deeply saddened and in tears next to the body of his murdered father? I don't care about what these people belief, I care for what they suffer. And any philosophical conception, be it religious or not, that withholds you from sympathizing with suffering is deeply unworthy and perverted.

Soldiers deflected from the army and formed Free Syrian Officers to protect themselves and civilians who chased by governments thugs. Many soldiers deflected and formed many battalions to protect their cities and its civilians (like Hums). High ranked army leaders deflected and formed the Free Syrian Army (FSA). I wonder why the discussion is so misleading. Does anybody know what is the main reason for Syria Uprising. It is all started by the "dignity" demonstration in Daraa asking for more civil rights and stop torturing the children… yes kids (OMG). The regime killed the protesters… more peaceful demonstrations faced by regime’s bullets. The soldiers who refused to shoot civilian were shot in the spot (Jesser Alshoqoor incident).

I agree the Syrian people don't want Bashar but I also don't think they want any religious group to govern. When a religious party governs they usually distort the true image of the religion they are representing. People should be free to practice Islam, Christianity in the way they believe is right, not how the government wants them too. I hope the Syrian people elect a Liberal party so Muslims and Christians can live in peace.
