Did you ever think you would hold a baby bear, in your life? How about a cougar, white tiger or..... Terri-Lynn discovers this most wonderful place between Bandon and Gold Beach on the southern Oregon coast. Another great day trip out of Gold Beach.
@cherrytoasterpastry What you are saying is not true. BCR has never fed live baits to cats that can't be released back in the wild. Please give me proofs, or stop lying ^^
Like nature "intended" for cats and dogs to be pets. If being kept in captivity is so awful, why not spay/neuter cats and dogs out of existence to save them from their misery? I've seen more dogs stressed out by captivity than your average exotic pet. My neighbor's dog is constantly pacing the fence trying to get out while she's at work for 8 hours a day. He can't stay in the house or he will tear things to shreds from stress. Thousands of dogs are like this. Why isn't that cruel?
The only people that would have a problem with this are animal rights whack jobs. I find it funny that this link posted on BCR's facebook, a "sanctuary" that keeps exotics in rusty flimsy cages full of dead vegetation, feces, standing water with scum growing on it, feeds cats that will never be released tame live rabbits, etc. And then they claim THIS is cruel.
This is wrong. Wild animals belong in the wild, and we should focus our efforts on preserving their natural habitats rather than treating them like pets to be kept captive and coddled by humans.
