  • not getting on you or nothing, but you are missinformed at least for my home state of michigan, we can trap and hunt bobcats in a limited portion of the northern lower peninsula, limit is two per year for each individual.

  • u have to give us trappers some slack there are things that u do that we don't like and u don't here us crying about it

  • Nice size cat there.

  • em ol boys is some huntin mothas ahy

  • on another note too i coyote trap and hunt about two hundred miles south of this open area in MI, and i have bobcat in my area, i hope to never catch one here because it has to be released and i have a hard enough time just releasing ferel cats that wiegh ten pounds, a fraction of the size of a full grown bobcat

  • sweet vid I hope it made a nice hat.

  • trapping is banned, but you have found traps used illegally, REPORT THESE LOCATIONS, then the proper authorities can catch the perp in the act, and for catching fox in bear size traps, i dont think so buddy, these traps wiegh more than ten pounds each for the small ones, and the bed would have to be massive, any fox would steer clear. i set traps where i step back and look and can not see my trap, there is no scent, and the fox and coyote still find it and dig it up, you guys are telling stories

  • hiltzter- a few ?'s if you don't mind. I just read all these posts and i'm curious about somethings that i think most others here are ignorant of. Are you in eastern Canada? Is trapping done full or part time? You see, I have this feeling that most of those who have weighed in here are full of shit. As i understand it, 'Hillbillies' are from a specific region of the U.S. Hunting, fishing and trapping are not qualifying factors. So once again, do you trap full time/year-round, seasonal?

  • I came across traps in which bitten off paws were left... really sad to see it. When a "bear size" trap is used and a fox is caught it's got a broken leg, I have to kill it when I see one, and it's quite typical where I hunt.
