@kesariyavilayati yes he is a good batsman.. but i think the reason he isnt rated in the esteem of ponting tendulkar etc is because he doesnt have a great technique to survive in bouncing or seaming conditions

The man is the most underrated batsman in international cricket. People are just not ready to accept him in the same league as Tendulkar, Laxman, Dravid, Ponting etc.
For me he is John Rambo of cricket. Destroys everything is sight. Like an Uzi firing 600 rounds per minutes.
I don't know why he was written off and dropped. Imagine, getting his last 10 test hundreds in excess of 150.
I like him game. Totally uncomplicated. Hit when u want to.. don't talk just hit.
