I always laughed at that part. The actual tool sits in your glove compartment. Its a HEX set. Takes about 2 minutes to take off, then you open your "trunk", put your rear seats down and lock it in place. Incase any of you were wondering. Same thing with my old mk3.

The rear seat doesn't have to be down to put the targe in the hatch. Well, I'm sure it doesn't on a MKIV, perhaps it does on a MK3.

I remember being really young and always watching that part and thinking wow I wanna be able to do that so I would always be in my mom's camry in the passenger seat pushing on the roof trying to make it fly off

@virtualmatrix258 yup 2 minutes if you're doing it fast, takes me around 5 minutes to take it off and situated in the back, although i have some speakers in the back takes me a bit more effort to accommodate my targa top in my trunk
