22 November. Chris Finlayson attacks Labour and the Greens

Chris Finlayson calls the EFB "utu legislation" and says the entire thing is simply payback for National's highly effective billboard campaign. When it comes to procedural matters in the subcommittee, "The whole process was an embarrassment to Parliament," he says, citing multiple examples of churlish and unreasonable behaviour by Labour's subcommittee members. In this well-reasoned and cogent speech, Chris takes Labour to task over both legal and moral problems built into the EFB in the clumsy service of pure political partisanship.
