My first gun review ever. I'm a little shaky with the camera but I don't have a tripod. I apologize for all the movement as well.
In this review series I am going over my Turkish Mauser Rifle that was made in 1893 and arsenal rebuilt in 1938. It is an all matching #'s gun that was imported by CAI in Georgia. It is chambered in .323 8mm Mauser.
My main point of making this video was to inform you about the compatibility between 1898 Mauser parts and1893 Mauser parts, which I talked about in the video. I also went over the accessories, the ammo, the usage, and the price of this rifle.

i have the same rifle. it is very accurate with the peap sights. i hit a beer can at 150 yds. open sights. i love my mauser. and what you paid is about what there worth.

Also, I don't know if it's because you have a newer firing pin or something, but I cannot get mine to unscrew like yours did. I think my Mauser may have a one piece firing pin

@griebz Corrosive Surplus ammo, corrosive primers. It will erode the bore if it is not cleaned shortly after shooting.

i have a turk mauser also yours looks nice mine has good rifling but my stock is refinished because it was beat up really bad
