The PEGASO project comprises a wide range of automatic machinery for sanding processes on shaped wooden mouldings and panel profile surfaces, as well as rolled sheet metal parts. Particularly suited to sand flat surface profiles and shaped mouldings, cabinet doors, furniture parts, door and window frames, doors, gratings and shutters, it also appropriately caters to all those work pieces having unusual or irregular surfaces that require manual finishing. The machine is composed of: Sanding unit assembled onto a rotary carousel housing 4 groups, each group consists of a couple of 520 mm brush carrier shafts, for a total of 8 brush carrier shafts. Both carousel and brush rotation is driven by an inverter device. The carousel assembly is fixed onto a heavy duty carriage unit, fitted with re-circulating ball screws designed for adjustment of required brush height position from the work surface. Height adjustment controls are provided on the machine's main control panel.
