Um, some guys do, I choose not to cuz its unrealistic, and one part of the effect of a reenactment is understanding just how loud and chaotic it can be. Its too late for me anyways...3 years of reenactment have gotten my hearing to the point at which gun shots no longer cause my ears to ring....
