This is a size comparison of the largest carnivores that walked the Earth (although Therizinosaurus is an herbivorous theropod).

  • Therazinosaurus was a plant eater bro

  • Torvosaurus?

  • @mysteriousSEGAfan11 the largest dinosaur ever: longest: the longest was amphicoelias (72m=60m+banddisks)

the heaviest probably bruhatkayosaurus at up to 55m and 200t

Giganotosaurus lived in the same area as some really giant Sauropods like Argentinosaurus and possibly long enough to feed on Puertasaurus

Amphicoelias could have been hunted by Saurophaganax/Allosaurus maximus (up to 15m long).

  • @tobysize There ARE herbivorous theropods, just because an animal changes its diet, this doesn´t mean it wouldn´t belong to its suborder anymore. What about ostriches? They mainly feed on plants, aren´t they theropods anymore?

  • since when is t rex larger than Carcharodontosaurus? Even the most conservative estimates for Carcharo are at 13,5m, the largest known t rex is 12,8m long. Mapusaurus was most likely about the same size as Carcharodontosaurus and the largest Giganotosaurus specimen certainly exceedet 14m. The upper size estimates for spino based on extrapolations from the skull lenght are at 16-18m. And Terizinosaurus was extremely massive, maybe it was among the heaviest of them all.

  • Also I thought that new studies have proved that carcharodontosaurus and mapusaurus were larger than T-Rex

  • @mrsmidgit no gigantosaurus is not the largest spinosaurus has a upper estimate of 18 meters and also Threzinosaurus is a class of therapod but adapted to being a plant eater it is also closely related tyranosaurs

  • @MrTotenkopf1978 Ironically, not only was therizinosaurus evolved from carnivorous dinosaurs into a herbivore but it's actually confirmed to be a close relative of the tyrannosaurid family.

  • That's not right, giganotosaurus is the biggest, and therizinosaurus is a plant eater.

  • i think jurrasic park made them look bigger then they really were
