@dinizgames they made a new engine because the old engine wouldn't work in the jungle environment. it wasn't like MGS1/2 where the games were all inside and on flat surfaces for most of the time, you'd be moving over rocks, uneven terrain, climbing trees and tree stumps and stuff. the MGS2 engine wouldn't have been able to handle all of that.

Epic sound track.... its mgs2 meets mgs3

was this ever published ?

Man, this couldve better than the actuall MGS3 game if Kojima continued Solid Snake's story between 2 and 4, but thats my opinion. Looks great with a new but unused (or revamped soundtrack) though, i wouldve played it

I remember seeing this video of the game running on the MGS2 engine, now this may explain why i always thought the final version of MGS3 felt rushed/buggy at times, like, control problems, unstable framerate, stiff moments, stuff that didn't happen on previews MGS games, though cutscenes, story and soundtrack are fantastic,
Why did they change the engine and remake the game on a newer one? I'm not a big fan of the MGS2 engine, always looked quite plastic to me, but this one looked improved...

@paulosbruzzi WOULD YOU CUT IT OUT WITH YOUR FUCKING FAKE LOLZ AND :P DICKHEAD?! And no, Raikov isn't Raiden.
-
@paulosbruzzi His patrynomic name (Raidenovich) is a direct reference to Raiden .
